The new Hero Xpulse 200 4V has been teased on the company's social media handle, hinting at a new "H" pattern LED headlamp unit. It will also get dual-channel ABS with ride modes that alter the sensitivity of the ABS system, namely Road, Off-road and Rally. The mapping would be done so that the Road mode will have the standard setting with proper intervention from the system, the Off-road mode may have a provision of switching off the rear ABS, and the Rally mode could switch off the ABS completely.
A 199.6-cc, oil-cooled power, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V, single-cylinder engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox that pushes a good 19.1 bhp and 17.35 Nm of torque. The bike tips the scales at 158 kg and has a ground clearance of 220mm and a seat height of 825 mm. Telescopic front forks and a mono-shock at the rear do suspension duties.
Braking is handled by a 276 mm disc up front and 220 mm at the rear on 21 and 18-inch tyres, respectively. It has a 13-litre tank and a fully digital instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. The bike comes with a sticker price of Rs. 1.39 lakh ex-showroom. The update will hike the price, and we can expect a price tag touching Rs 1.40 lakh.
