Ferrari Luce EV Unveiled in India: Design, Features and Specifications
  • The Luce marks Ferrari’s historic transition into pure electric mobility as its first-ever all-electric, four-door, five-seater grand tourer.

  • Powered by a quad-motor setup producing 1,036 bhp, it combines supercar acceleration with a tactile, retro-inspired cabin.

Ferrari has showcased the Luce, its first all-electric car, in India at the Universo Ferrari exhibition in New Delhi. The model marks the Italian manufacturer's entry into fully electric motoring while introducing a different design approach from its familiar sports cars.

The Luce is on display at Yashobhoomi, the India International Convention and Expo Centre, from 17 October to 1 November 2026. However, its appearance at the exhibition does not confirm an Indian sales launch and local pricing has not been announced.

Ferrari Luce: Exterior Design and Interior Features

The Ferrari Luce features a different design from the brand's traditional sports cars, with a smooth body, large glass areas and aerodynamic elements. Its four-door layout and five-seat configuration give it space for more passengers than many of Ferrari's two-seat models.

Inside, the cabin combines digital displays with physical controls. Rather than placing every function on a touchscreen, Ferrari has included mechanical switches, aluminium dials and knurled knobs for a more hands-on approach.

  • Physical controls: Switches, aluminium dials and knurled knobs sit alongside the digital displays.

  • Recycled aluminium steering wheel: The steering wheel uses recycled aluminium, according to the details shared about the cabin design.

Powertrain, Performance and Range

The Ferrari Luce uses four electric motors, with one motor driving each wheel. Together, they produce a claimed 1,036 bhp and 990 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.

A 122 kWh battery supports the electric powertrain, while the claimed driving range exceeds 530 km on a single charge. The car also features four-wheel steering, active suspension and torque-vectoring technology to manage power delivery across the wheels.

India Launch Timeline

The Luce's India debut is part of Ferrari's Universo Ferrari exhibition, which showcases the brand's road cars and motorsport history. The event also features other models from its range.

Ferrari has not confirmed the Luce's Indian launch date or local price. Further details about its availability in the country are expected to clarify when prospective buyers may be able to purchase the electric grand tourer.
