Detailed Crash Impact Analysis Report for Porsche Accident Involving Juvenile Driver
Police investigating the Porsche car accident allegedly involving a juvenile driver have prepared a comprehensive crash impact analysis report with the assistance of a forensic expert from the Army. This report is aimed at correlating the impact of the Porsche on the motorcycle involved in the accident with the injuries sustained by the two deceased individuals, both of whom were IT professionals, a police officer revealed on Tuesday.
The accident, which occurred in the early hours of May 19 in the Kalyani Nagar area of Pune, resulted in the deaths of Anish Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta. The Porsche, allegedly driven by a 17-year-old son of a builder, collided with their motorcycle. Investigations indicate that the juvenile driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
According to the investigators, after the collision, Ashwini Koshta, who was riding pillion, landed on the windshield of the Porsche. To understand the dynamics of the crash, the police enlisted the help of a forensic expert from the Indian Army.
"We have obtained a report of the crash impact analysis of the accident from a forensic expert from the Indian Army. Through this analysis, the impact of both vehicles on each other, the positioning of the car, and the injuries sustained by the deceased have been correlated," a crime branch officer stated.
This crash impact analysis is crucial in confirming that the Porsche was indeed involved in the accident. The report helps in establishing a clear link between the car, the motorcycle, and the resulting injuries, providing solid evidence for the ongoing investigation.
In addition to the crash impact analysis, the police had earlier announced plans for a "digital reconstruction" of the accident scene. This process would use advanced AI-based tools and software to enhance the understanding of the incident and provide further evidence.
While the juvenile driver is currently in an observation home, his parents are in police custody. They are being investigated for their alleged involvement in swapping the blood samples of their son to possibly manipulate the results.
