Dealerships receive the Mahindra BE 6 (Pack One); deliveries to start shortly

With the release of its cheapest model, Pack One, to dealerships throughout India, Mahindra's electric SUV BE 6 has made significant progress toward becoming available to consumers. The action marks the beginning of delivery and allows early buyers to purchase one of the more reasonably priced luxury EVs available.

Important Costs and Variants

  • The pricing of the Pack One version is ₹18.90 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).

  • Pack One, Pack One Above, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three are the five trim levels that make up the BE 6 series. The price is expected to reach around ₹26.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • A larger 79 kWh battery pack, which is not included in the Pack One offering, is an additional option on higher trim levels.

Performance and Battery Details

  • The Pack One has an ARAI range of 557 kilometers and a 59 kWh battery.

  • About 228 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque are produced by the electric motor.

  • For comparison, the larger 79 kWh battery used in higher trim levels is said to have a range of up to 683 km (MIDC).

Features and Benefits of the Base Trim

The BE 6 has a feature-rich bundle, even in the cheapest Pack One variant:

  • Two 12.3-inch screens (infotainment and instrument cluster).

  • Rear AC vents, 65W Type-C charging outlets, automatic climate control, fabric-upholstered seats, and 60:40 reclining rear seats are also included.

  • Dual-pod LED headlights and an illuminated hood emblem are among the exterior design features; nonetheless, this trim lacks some high-end features including fog lamps, a silver skid plate, and C-shaped DRLs.

What's Missing in Pack One

  • Certain features are missing, as would be anticipated from a base variant:

  • Rather than using larger alloys, it employs 18-inch steel wheels covered in black.

  • No luxury audio system, ventilated seats, HUD, NFC key or panoramic glass roof.

  • These omissions maintain competitive cost without compromising the essential EV experience.

Mahindra is firmly establishing itself in India's mid-size EV market with the release of the Pack One version of the BE 6. This version offers an appealing mix of range, features, and cost for those eager to upgrade to a high-end EV without the biggest budget. There will probably be more competition from other EV manufacturers as client deliveries start in the upcoming weeks.
