Citroen Aircross X Teased Ahead of Launch in India

The Citroen Aircross X has been unveiled on the basis of teaser pictures, and it proves a multiplicity of improvements. The teasers highlight cruise control and updated upholstery, and the cruise ought to be able to offer such special features as ventilated front seats, push-button start, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless phone charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and optional 360-degree cameras.

The in-car smart AI listed as Cara by Citroen is also set to appear along with the Aircross X, added to the on-model functions of Basalt X, which was recently launched, and also serves to make it even more technologically attractive.

Safety Package -Solid

Citroen is not spared on the safety front. Similar to the normal Aircross, the Aircross X will have six airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP as part of the standard feature across the different trims to make sure that safety remains the same regardless of the trim of the car being purchased.

Engine Choices to remain familiar

The Aircross X will come with its existing petrol 1.2-litre engines in Citroen. This refers to the naturally aspirated unit as well as the turbocharged motor.

The X turbo-petrol is unique with 110 bhp and 190 Nm using the 6-speed manual or 205 Nm using the 6-speed automatic transmission.

Though a diesel solution is not anticipated, these petrol-based power-trains have already shown their way in urban and highway environments.

Under the Wider India Strategy of Citroen

It is a key component of the overall product renewal of Citroen in India, along with Basalt X or C3X, that the latter are also launched. The French car company is preparing to have great retail growth capacity by the end of this financial year, with 150 showrooms than the present 80 showrooms. There are also plans to introduce CNG-ready models of the C3 and Aircross families.

Conclusion

Having a strong emphasis on the feature-laden modifications, the safety detail, and the course of the tech, Citroen Aircross X continues to contend well in the compact SUV segment. Its launch will be a significant move in the establishment of Citroen in India, which has hitherto begun making aggressive steps to cement its presence in India, given that it has already opened bookings.
