Brand New Maserati GranCabiro to Launch in India Soon

Maserati has recently unveiled its latest convertible sports car, the new-generation GranCabrio, adding a stylish and dynamic option to the luxury car market. This open-top version of the GranTurismo carries over many design elements from its counterpart and is set to make its way to Indian roads soon, following the introduction of the GranTurismo later this year.

The GranCabrio maintains the sleek aesthetic with familiar features seen in the GranTurismo, including the headlights, grille, and air intakes. With a low-slung profile and an elongated bonnet adorned with air vents, the addition of a retractable fabric roof distinguishes it, making it approximately 100 kg heavier than the GranTurismo.

The roof, operable via the central touchscreen system, takes only 14 seconds to open and 16 seconds to close, even while cruising at speeds of up to 50 kmph. Customers can choose from five roof colors and six exterior colors, and the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program offers a range of 26 special shades and exclusive materials.

Inside, the GranCabrio boasts a modern interior with two touchscreen displays—one for climate control and the other serving as the central infotainment display. A digital instruments display enhances the driving experience. To ensure comfort while driving top-down, the car features a adjustable neck warmer with three intensity levels, along with an optional wind stopper for reduced windiness in the rear seats. The Sonus faber sound system, available with 13 or 16 speakers, adds a premium audio experience.

Under the hood, the GranCabrio is powered by a robust 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, generating 535 bhp and 650 Nm of peak torque. Accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds, it achieves a top speed of 316 kmph. The car offers four distinct drive modes: Comfort, GT, Sport, and Corsa, allowing drivers to tailor their driving experience.

Upon its debut in India, the GranCabrio will enter a competitive market, facing rivals like the Mercedes-AMG SL55, Ferrari Roma, and the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. Its powerful engine and customizable driving modes are expected to appeal to luxury car enthusiasts seeking a blend of performance and elegance. The GranCabrio aims to deliver an exclusive and powerful driving experience, making it a highly anticipated addition to the Indian luxury car scene.
