Brand-New C3 Aircross SUV Teaser Released

The C3 Aircross, a new B-SUV from French automaker Citroen, will debut in India on April 27. It seems likely that the C3 Aircross, which would initially only be offered with petrol engines, will be a direct rival to the well-liked Hyundai Creta SUV. While the SUV is scheduled to go on sale in India later this year, other international markets are also anticipated to receive the SUV.

On April 27, Citroen will introduce the second-generation C3 Aircross SUV, a brand-new item for India and other regions. This vehicle will be larger than the original C3 Aircross, with an appropriate SUV design and Citroen C3-inspired stylistic cues. The interior of the C3 Aircross is anticipated to be distinct, despite the possibility that certain switchgear will be shared with the smaller C3. Although it has been suggested that a three-row seating arrangement would be possible, its availability at launch still needs to be discovered.

The CMP modular platform, also used by other Stellantis vehicles, including the Citroen C3 produced in India, will support Citroen's future C3 Aircross SUV. Greater scale economies and competitive pricing will be possible in the fiercely competitive Indian SUV market as a result. A 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, also utilized in the more compact C3, will power the SUV. The 110 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque the engine produces should be sufficient to power the bigger C3 Aircross. Later, the lineup will also include an electric engine option.

Mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Skoda Kushaq will compete with Citroen C3 across SUVs. While it might have slightly less power than its turbo-petrol rivals, it might be priced competitively with their normally aspirated petrol models. Stay tuned for more information regarding the C3 Aircross SUV.
