BMW X5 M Sport Pro India Launch: Price, Variants and Specs

BMW has launched the X5 M Sport Pro in India and has added to its luxury SUV lineup with an additional sportier and more performance-oriented model.

The new model will be available in xDrive40i M Sport Pro at ₹1.13 crore and the xDrive30d M Sport Pro at ₹1.15 crore (ex-showroom). Both models have extra styling and mechanical upgrades compared to the basic X5.

Sporty Styling and Exclusive Details

M Sport Pro treatment endows the X5 with a more vicious nature. It has an M Sport exhaust system to give the SUV a sharper sound profile, an exhaust trim, and a high-gloss black kidney grille and air dam.

It is athletic in intent, and other features such as M Sport brakes with red callipers, Piano Black dashboard features, and signature M seat belts underline this purpose.

Off-Road Capability with Off-Road Package

To the ones that want flexibility, BMW provides the xOffroad package in the X5 M Sport Pro. It adds four specific driving modes, i.e., xSand, xRocks, xGravel, and xSnow, which modulate the ride height of the vehicle, xDrive system, throttle response, transmission, and DSC settings in order to handle uneven terrain with ease.

Loaded with Luxury Features

In addition to performance, the X5 M Sport Pro comes with a long list of features. These are air suspension, comfort seats, adaptive LED headlights, 21-inch alloys, curved digital display, 4-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof and a premium Harman Kardon audio system. They all make the driving experience and passenger experience more comfortable.

Engine Options with Mild-Hybrid Tech

Powering the SUV are 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, each paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The petrol unit produces 375hp and 520Nm, while the diesel delivers 282hp and 650Nm.

Both variants benefit from a 48V mild-hybrid system, adding 12bhp and 200Nm for smoother power delivery and improved efficiency.

Conclusion

With the X5 M Sport Pro, BMW has brought a sharper design, enhanced equipment, and robust engine options to its best-selling luxury SUV. Positioned between everyday usability and sporty performance, it’s aimed at buyers who want more exclusivity and capability in their premium SUV experience.
