Audi Q8 e-tron Breaks Cover

The new Audi Q8 e-tron has been revealed and it claims a 600 km range on a full charge.

The Audi Q8 e-tron breaks cover and is offered in two body styles: Standard SUV and Sportback Coupe. It houses a 114 kWh battery pack that powers two motors making a combined output of 408 bhp of power and 664 Nm of peak torque. The company claims a 0-100 km/h dash in 5.6 seconds.

The Audi Q8 e-tron comes with a 22 kW AC charger that can support 170 kW DC fast charging which is capable of doing a 10-80 per cent charge in a claimed 31 minutes. The AC charger takes 0-100 per cent in six hours. The SUV gets charging ports on both sides of the car.

The feature list includes a 10.1-inch infotainment unit, an 8.6-inch MID, powered front seats with memory, heated seats with ventilation and massage functions, panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, TPMS, and 20-inch alloy wheels among others.

The exterior gets a blacked-out grille with a new mesh design and the new monochrome logo, a lightbar projecting light downwards, a reprofiled front bumper with large air dams on either side, and a new rear bumper.

The Audi Q8 e-tron will lock horns with the likes of the Jaguar I-Pace that comes with a starting sticker price of Rs. 1.19 crore.
