Audi India to Raise Prices by Up to 2% from April 2026
Audi India's price revision, effective April 01, 2026, will see increases ranging from approximately Rs 86,000 on the Q3 to Rs 4.64 lakh on the RS Q8.
The hike covers both locally assembled models, such as the A4, A6, Q3, Q5 and Q7, as well as imported vehicles, including the Q8 e-tron and e-tron GT.
Audi India has confirmed a price increase of up to 2 percent across its model range, effective April 01, 2026. While a 2 percent figure might sound modest on paper, it translates to real money depending on which Audi you have your eye on. The increase could amount to roughly Rs 86,000 in Q3, which is Audi's most accessible offering at Rs 43.23 lakh ex-showroom, and as much as Rs 4.64 lakh on the RS Q8, priced at Rs 2.32 crore.
The exact quantum will differ from one model to the next, so prospective buyers would do well to check in with their nearest dealership before the calendar turns.
According to the company, the prices will witness an upward revision owing to the rise in input costs and fluctuations in currency rates.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director at Audi India, addressed the matter directly, stating that the brand remains committed to keeping the impact on customers as low as possible. It is worth noting that Audi India had previously announced a price increase of up to 3 per cent from January 2025, making this the second revision in just over a year.
The pattern reflects a broader challenge facing luxury carmakers in India, where import-heavy supply chains leave them exposed to global economic headwinds.
The hike is not limited to a select few nameplates. Audi's locally assembled range in India includes the A4 and A6 sedans, along with the Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5 and Q7 SUVs. The brand also retails imported models such as the A5 Sportback, Q8, Q8 e-tron and e-tron GT.
Each of these will be subject to the revised pricing, though the percentage increase will vary by model.
The timing of this announcement sits alongside a period of considerable activity for Audi India. The brand recently began accepting bookings for the new SQ8 ahead of its launch, with the model set to be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 500bhp and 770Nm.
Beyond that, the next significant launch from Audi India is expected to be the new Q3. For those who have been sitting on the fence about making a purchase, the approaching deadline of April 0,1 lends a certain urgency to the decision.
