Ahead of the debut, teaser showed LED Pixel Grille of GLC EV

The new SUV is soon going to make a full debut at the Munich Motor Show 2025, happening on 7th September (as anticipated).

Graceful Yet Futuristic Designs

As shown in the teaser, the SUV has a new front grille with an LED matrix. It will be bold, upright, and illuminated, unlike the minimalist and smooth ones seen on the current segment of Mercedes-Benz EQ models.

This new EV is expected to be a successor to the Mercedes EQC. Inspired by the designs of the 1902 Mercedes Simplex and later classics like the 600 Pullman and W 108, the new grille will have a thick chrome and a matrix of 942 backlit LED pixels, which is also capable of displaying animated graphics.

Other than the grille designs, it also has some other amazing updates. Some of them are listed below:

  • Mercedes-Benz tri-star logo at the centre of the grille

  • Sleek and angled LED headlamps with a smoky effect

  • Dark grey trim on the bumper

MBUX Hyperscreen In The New EV

An upgraded version of the MBUX Hyperscreen, a wide, curved display that combines the digital instrument cluster, infotainment interface, and HVAC controls, will be there in the GLC EV.

The MBUX Hyperscreen is currently available in the EQS and EQE only, but since the GLC EV will get an updated version, the crisper visuals, smoother animations, and greater responsiveness can be expected.

In Summary

Recently, Mercedes-Benz released teaser images of its upcoming new model, Mercedes-Benz GLC EV, ahead of its debut at the Munich Motor Show 2025. The new model is coming with some new and updated styling designs and has an MBUX hyperscreen built as well.
