- Petrol deliveries begin in the second half of June 2026, while EV deliveries are expected from mid-June 2026, with a one to two-month wait.
Tata Motors has refreshed both members of the Tiago family at the same time, and both are now open for bookings. Whether you are drawn to the petrol-powered hatchback or the electric version, the process to reserve your car is fairly similar and straightforward. Here is everything you need to know before placing that booking amount.
The facelifted Tata Tiago petrol is priced from Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered in six variants, namely Smart, Pure, Pure Plus, Pure Plus A, Creative, and Creative Plus. A booking amount of Rs 11,000 is required to secure your reservation.
Head to Tata Motors' official website, navigate to the Tiago's page and click on the booking button. You will be prompted to select your preferred engine and transmission, followed by your variant and colour of choice.
After filling in your personal and billing details and choosing a dealership in your city, you complete the booking by paying Rs 11,000.
You can just as easily walk into any authorised Tata dealership and have a sales representative guide you through the same steps. It is worth using this visit to take a test drive with your family, and to ask about the cancellation terms before committing.
The facelifted Tiago EV has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in three variants, namely Smart, Pure Plus and Creative Plus. The booking amount is Rs 11,000, as per dealer sources.
Visit Tata EV's official website and click the Book Now button. From there, you select your preferred battery pack and variant, with the option to also choose your charger type on the same page. Colour selection is available at the bottom of the page. Ensure you are logged in before starting, as your personal details and identification proof will be required at checkout.
A dealership visit works just as well for the EV. A sales representative will walk you through the variant, battery pack, and colour options before you pay the booking amount and finalise the order.
The petrol Tiago arrives with a sharper front face, sleek DRL-integrated headlamps, a blanked-off grille, LED connected taillamps, 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and a revised colour palette.
The Tiago EV has received an even more thorough design overhaul, with a fully closed-off grille, a colour-matched nose, redesigned alloy wheels, and new sleeker LED taillamps with a central connecting element.
Both cars share a similarly updated interior approach, featuring a layered, minimalistic dashboard with free-standing touchscreens, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and a dual-tone cabin.
Feature highlights common to both include a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual wireless phone chargers, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a digital instrument cluster, and a 360-degree camera.
Safety across both is underpinned by six airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold control, TPMS, and rear parking sensors.
The petrol Tiago is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine producing 86 PS and 113 Nm, available with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT. A factory-fit CNG option is also on offer, with outputs of 73.4 PS and 95 Nm in gas mode.
The Tiago EV retains its existing powertrain options. The 19.2 kWh battery produces 61 PS and 110 Nm with a claimed range of 223 km, while the larger 24 kWh pack delivers 75 PS and 114 Nm with a claimed range of 293 km.
In both cases, buyers should expect a waiting period of one to two months from the date of booking, depending on the variant and colour chosen.
