What the Knight Edition Adds Over the Standard Venue

A Blacked-Out Exterior That Means Business

The 2026 Hyundai Venue Knight Edition has been launched in India, priced from Rs 9.70 lakh (ex-showroom), and is available across select variants of the HX5, HX6T, HX8, and HX10 trims. The strategy here is one that Hyundai has applied across its line-up before, and it works well on the Venue too.

The Knight Edition features blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels with contrasting red brake callipers, black roof rails, and an all-black theme on the front and rear bumpers, which carry a contrasting silver finish on the regular model.

The overall effect is noticeably more purposeful. The Hyundai badges at the front and rear get a matte black finish, and a Knight Edition emblem is affixed to the tailgate to set it apart from the standard car.

An All-Black Cabin With Warm Brass Highlights

Step inside and the changes continue. The interior adopts a new all-black theme in place of the navy blue and grey palette of the standard Venue, with brass-coloured elements added on the steering wheel, climate control buttons, and AC vents.

The stitching on the leatherette upholstery of both the steering wheel and seats is also brass-coloured, as is a strip on the gear shifter. It is a tasteful combination that keeps things from feeling too sombre.

The feature set remains identical to whichever variant the Knight Edition is based on. The top-spec version gets dual 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation, automatic climate control with rear vents, a single-pane sunroof, and a wireless phone charger.

On the safety front, six airbags are standard, alongside a 360-degree camera, an ADAS suite, an electronic parking brake, and disc brakes on all four wheels.

The HX6T petrol MT now costs Rs 10.88 lakh (up by Rs 8,000), the HX10 turbo-petrol DCT stands at Rs 14.64 lakh (also up Rs 8,000), the HX10 diesel AT is now Rs 15.64 lakh (up Rs 13,000), and the N-Line N10 DCT variant has been priced at Rs 15.64 lakh, which is Rs 24,000 more than before.

The Venue Knight Edition carries forward the same engine options as the standard model, comprising an 83hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 120hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel. The petrol pairs with a manual gearbox, the turbo-petrol comes with a DCT, and the diesel is offered with both manual and automatic transmission options.
