
The 2023 Kia Seltos has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and the top model will set you back by Rs. 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants: Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line. The company claims that it has already received over 13,000 bookings within a day since the bookings were open. The highlights on the exterior includes new LED DRLs, redesigned bonnet, new grille with new headlamp setup, new front and rear bumpers, new tail lamps with a light bar that runs across the width of the car and new 18-inch alloy wheels.
The updated Seltos gets interior features like a dual pane panoramic sunroof, ADAS suite, sequential LED turn indicators, dual-zone climate control, two 10.25-inch screens integrated as one that consist a touchscreen infotainment unit and a digital driver dash, a 1.5-litre, turbo petrol engine that produces 158 bhp, and new colour shades. There is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine on offer which produces 113 bhp of power and 143.8 Nm of peak torque. And it comes mated to a six-speed or a CVT transmission.
The 1.5-litre turbo diesel unit is also present as an option, it makes a good 114 bhp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a six-speed iMT or a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The Kia Seltos takes on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor to name a few. The Kia India lineup offerings include the EV6, Carens, and Sonet.
