How do you carry out an AP vehicle registration search

The government established the RTO(Regional Transport Office) to supervise all activities related to transport in India. An RTO is mandatory in every state and UT of India. The duties and responsibilities of the department are enumerated in the 1988 Motor Vehicles Act of India. Additionally, the department handles other responsibilities, including tax collection, pollution checks, and traffic laws.

The department is also responsible for ensuring adequate, efficient, and economical transportation for the movement of people and goods through the state. Along with these, the department investigates any violations of traffic rules and issues challans and fines to all violators. RTO is also responsible for handling all matters relating to vehicle registration and the subject of licenses.
