Toyota Kirloskar Motor Resumes Bookings For Hilux In India

The Toyota Hilux is an immensely possible pick-up SUV worldwide and was launched in India in 2022.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched its highly-awaited Hilux in India in early 2022 and has resumed its booking for the Hilux in India for 2023 at a token amount of Rs. 50,000. It is offering pre-booking services for the model through its online portal as well as associated dealers. Needless to say, Hilux has obtained immense popularity and customer response for its butch styling and driving comfort. Owing to its high demand and factors impacting the supply, the bookings of Hilux were temporarily stopped. The Toyota Hilux has surpassed 20 million sales units from over 180 countries. It is targeted at emerging businesses, be it military, farming, mining, construction, campervan and rescue van among others.

The Hilux gets a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, available with both six-speed automatic and manual transmissions. All variants of the Hilux are equipped with the 4x4 transfer case and get drive modes - Power and Eco. Front Parking Sensors and Tire Angle Monitor are offered as standard. Furthermore, the Hilux's water-wading power of 700mm makes it ideal for driving through Indian trails.
