CARS WITH THE HIGHEST WAITING PERIOD IN 2022
Even with the high price, the Fortuner faces high demands that might last up to 4 months. Being one of the most loved car in the SUV segment, it has sold over 20,000 units in just one month of July 2022.
The waiting times for this popular mid-size SUV range from 10 to 30 weeks, depending on the version. For many models, the waiting times have also increased starting in May 2022 by 4 to 6 weeks.
Ertiga has a 1.5L petrol engine as standard equipment, with the exception of the CNG model. The delivery time for CNG variations, which is approximately nine months, is substantially longer than it is for petrol variants, which can take up to four months to arrive.
The Kia Carens is next in line and has the second-longest wait time. A 6- or 7-seater MPV called the Carens is available in 19 variations. It can take up to 18 months for the 1.5L NA Petrol type. But in no way has this decreased the need for Carens.
The current price range for Mahindra's XUV700 is Rs 13.18 lakh to Rs 24.58 lakh. Models can take up to 21 months to arrive. That almost equals two years!
