BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro is a new petrol variant of the entry-level sedan from the company. It sits between the 220i M Sport and the 220d M Sport.
BMW India has announced the launch of the 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro at a price of Rs. 45.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The feature list includes M-specific Anthracite roof lining, paddle shifters, M badging, BMW gesture control, illuminated Boston interior trim finishers, heads-up display, and 205 watts 10-speaker setup to name a few. The interior stitching has been redone to give the car a sportier look and the same school of thought has been followed for the exterior styling as well.
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, in-line turbo petrol engine mated to a seven-speed DCT transmission that makes a good 189 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. It also comes with a launch control function with a shift-by-wire gear selector switch.
The introduction of the 2-Series was a part of the company’s India offensive and the addition of the new M Sport Pro variant is expected to boost sales. The company is also focused on launching new models and variants according to the changing demand in customer behaviour.
