Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has registered a growth of 6.13 per cent with a sale of 3,38,289 in the month of April 23 when compared to the April 22 numbers of 3,18,732. Entering FY2023-24, the company witnessed HMSI’s total sales (domestic and exports) close at 374,747 units, with 338,289 two-wheeler sales in the domestic market. On the overseas export business front, HMSI exported 36,458 units for the month.
The company also launched its two new models - the OBD2-compliant 2023 SP 125 and Activa125 in Uttar Pradesh. Honda also launched the all-new Honda Shine 100 at a price of Rs 64,900, it rivals the Hero Splendor directly. The Shine 100 undercuts the cheapest Splendor by a pleasing Rs 9,000 and the Shine 125 by Rs 14-15,000.
