Know Your Challan Difference in Kerala and Nagaland
If we go by the traffic control system of the country, then one thing goes with me saying - it is extremely well built. However, intentionally or not, you will have to be penalised when you break any rules. In its simplest form, this penalty is called the "challan".
The challan will be handed over to you depending on which rule you break. You can't skip any challan in the strict system in India. However, the rates vary not only on the instance but also from one state to another.
Kerala is quite a populated state. Recently, Kerala has faced a lot of road accidents, so a revised format has been set up. The Kerala challan are as follows:
Driving without putting on a seat belt

Not keeping the observed road regulations in mind

On the other hand, Nagaland is one state with low street commotion. Hence, many people driving vehicles are quite cautious and follow the rules.
Recently, Nagaland has formulated a State Level Road Safety Committee and District Level Road Safety Committee, which went through discrete discussions and then decided on the rates. The nagaland challan penalties are as follows:
Driving without having the seatbelt on- Rs 1000
Any member riding a two-wheeler without a helmet on
Driving your vehicle on the road without a valid number plate
Parking in "No Parking Zone"
Breaking or disobeying the traffic signal under any circumstances
Driving the vehicle in a dangerous or rush manner might lead to an accident
Making use of the phone while driving the car
Drinking and driving
Driving the vehicle without the legal registration- Rs 2000
Driving a vehicle which does not have insurance
Violating the road regulations as observed
Driving without a driving license which is not valid
Driving without the appropriate insurance

Nagaland has a strict penalty in most cases. This was introduced recently to ensure that one can eliminate any long-term accidents in Nagaland and have fear and responsibility while driving.
However, Kerala, on the other hand, has got a more strict implementation, and you have to pay the challan within 60 days. Supervision is quite strict during the night hours, so there is not much scope to escape from the situation.
The difference in penalty charges is quite evident, and as we have mentioned, these rates go through a revision. The rates can be higher in Nagaland, but the efficiency of applying the challan rates is more frequent in Kerala.
