Any offense committed under section 199A of the Motor Vehicle Act by a juvenile, the guardian of such juvenile, or the owner of the motor vehicle is considered to be guilty and liable to be penalized accordingly. In addition to the penalty charges, such guardian or owner is imprisoned for up to three years, along with a fine of ?25,000. In some cases, the registration of the vehicle is also canceled for a year. These juveniles will not be granted a driving license until they have attained the age of twenty-five years In Jharkhand.
