The Nano car price ranges between Rs 2.36 lakhs and Rs 3.35 lakhs. The base variant of the Nano car price is Rs2.36 lakhs, and the top variant costs Rs3.35 lakhs.

Mileage

The new model of Nano is available in petrol and petrol+CNG engines. The Nano car 624cc petrol engine produces 38bhp power at 5500rpm and 51Nm torque. The engine is mated with manual and automated manual transmission gearboxes (AMT). AMT offers a mileage of around 21 Kmpl, whereas the manual version gives a mileage of around 23.6 Kmpl.

Exteriors

The new Nano car has undergone several changes compared to its original model.

The front has a new smiling grille with circular fog lamps, unlike the original model. The plain headlamps have been replaced with clear lens smoked ones with “Nano” prints on them. In addition, a black piano strip with a big “Tata” logo is placed between the headlamps. This feature is not available in the original model.
On the side, nothing new has been added to the design. It carries all the design features that were present in the earlier version. Even the dimensions of the car remain the same. Also, the ground clearance remains the same at 180mm, which is good enough to drive through the potholes and bumps.
On the rear, the car has the same smiling grille without lights. The new Nano car enables the opening of the rear tailgate, which was not possible in the earlier model. A handle has been added to lift the gate. Even the exhaust outlet has been replaced, which used to be in the centre is now at the left.
Along with the regular colours, the new car comes with two additional colors: Red and Persian Rose.

Interiors

The interiors of the new Nano car have undergone some changes, particularly the dashboard. The new model's dashboard comes in different colors for different trims, which looks better than the original model. The instrument cluster has also undergone an upgrade. It now shows different drive modes, an electronic trip meter, and average fuel economy to name a few.
The new steering wheel is much better in terms of maneuvering when compared to the previous one. Other than this, the fabrics of the seats are much more comfortable now. The front and rear seats provide adequate knee and legroom space. Even the AC vents are more powerful now.
The boot space in the new model is spacious enough. In an Automated Manual Transmission variant car, the boot space is 94L. On the other hand, the manual transmission variant car comes with 110L boot space. You can easily carry small bags, suitcases, and grocery items in the boot space.

Competitors

Nano GenX rivals cars such as Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 and Hyundai Eon in the compact hatchback cars segment. Besides this, Alto 800 and Renault Kwid also make it to the competitor list.

Tata Nano GenX Vs Tata Nano First Gen Model

The first-generation Tata Nano isn't that appealing. On the other hand, Tata Nano GenX's overall design is appealing. A few new features, like a smiling grille and smoked headlamps, were added, making it more aesthetically pleasing.
The price of Tata Nano GenX is higher than the first-generation model.
Nano GenX provides a handle to open the tailgate. On the other hand, in the first-generation model, it is not possible to open the tailgate.
The first generation model gives a mileage of 25.4 Kmpl. Nano GenX gives a mileage from 21 Kmpl to 23.6 Kmpl.
