Citroen delivers 75 C3 vehicles in Delhi on Independence Day 2022

Citroen India recently conducted a massive delivery push in Delhi on Independence Day. Customers in Delhi received 75 new C3 automobiles from the company's dealer partner Paris Motocorp. All guests who had previously reserved the car were given the keys at The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi.

The new Citroen C3 was introduced in India in July of this year. According to the firm, the car has received a "good response" across the country's 20 dealerships. The C3 is now priced beginning at Rs 5,70,500. (ex-showroom, Delhi). Citroen emphasizes that this is introductory pricing that may change in the future.

In India, the Citroen C3 comes with a standard vehicle warranty of two years or 40,000 km (whichever comes first), a warranty on replacement parts and accessories of 12 months or 10,000 km (whichever comes first), and 24/7 Roadside Assistance. It also comes with an extended warranty and maintenance packages.

Two petrol engines are at the heart of the new C3. A 1.2-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine with 81 hp and 115 Nm is available. The powertrain is also available in turbo form, with 109 horsepower and 190 Nm of peak torque. The automobile has a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed manual designated for the turbocharged version. Later on, the automobile will also be available with an automatic transmission. According to rumours, the car will have a 6-speed torque converter AT gearbox in the second half of 2023. Citroen is also rumoured to be working on a next-generation 1.2-litre petrol engine.
