When we first launched Park+, we wanted to make it easier for travellers to save time when searching for parking spaces at different spots in the country. But as we connected with our users, we identified the need to expand our horizon to cater to other car-related needs like insurance renewal, FASTag related issues, challan payment, etcWhat you’ll do
- 6 Months of relevant experience in designing & implementing scalable, resilient backend microservices
- Expert at any backend programming language (Python/GoLang preferrable) and has exposure to API design and scalable architecture
- Hands-on experience on a couple of RDBMS/NoSQL/In-memory DBs
- Great database modelling skills
- Ability to choose the right algorithm, data-structure, and design pattern for the given problem statement
- Knowledge of any cloud based platform like AWS or GCP and scaling on the go
- Understanding of various application security principles and experience with building applications secure by design
Who you are
We at "Park+" are working hard to solve some big, bad and complex parking problems of India. By solving for Parking, we're going after a whitespace that is worth over $5 Billion in India and leveraging the sticky, daily use case that parking is, we want to be the one stop shop for the entire gamut of problems that a car owner might face from the point of purchasing his vehicle to the point of its sale. In that direction, our suite includes but not limited to:
1. Buy Fastag: We are the first non-banking company in India who are selling FasTag on the app.
2. Recharge Fastag : We are the only app in the market where you can recharge any FasTag.
3. Automatic Parking charges: We are the first company in India who have made malls live with FasTag integration. Now one can pay Parking charges seamlessly through FasTag just like at Tolls.
4. Daily Car Wash: An entire platform for providing daily car wash to users right in their societies
5. Car service and accessories: Platform to book car services and purchase accessories for car
6. Challan services for consumers to discover and resolve their pending vehicle challans digitally
7. EV: We are setting up EV charging stations and providing real-time ETAs right. Have partnered with companies like Ather etc.
8. Vehicle insurance purchases for consumers through partner integrations
9. Real time parking booking in advance along with online payment
